Two security guards charged with rape of Moi University first year student

Two security guards attached to Moi University have been charged with rape of a student. The two, Ezekiel Barmasai and Timothy Kemboi, are accused of committing the offense on October 6, 2017 within at the Eldoret-based institution.

Each suspect faced two alternative charges of raping and touching the girl’s private parts. They pleaded not guilty to the charges and were released on a sh500, 000 bond.
