Our Loation

The Joint Programme on the prevention and response to Gender-Based Violence (JP-GBV) brings together 14 Government Ministries and 14 UN agencies, and other stakeholders in Kenya informed by among others a situational analysis commissioned by GoK and UN Agencies conducted between June-August 2016. Although gender is a cross-cutting issue which should primarily be mainstreamed in all UNDAF programmes, there are some gender issues that necessitate specific and separate interventions. One of these issues includes specific interventions, such as strengthening the national gender machinery and addressing GBV. These form the basis of this report for thy year 2018.
