Our Loation

Despite a number of developments in policy and practice towards the integration of gender equality into humanitarian action, what is still required is a strong evidence base that demonstrates gender equality in programming. This report explores the extent of gender mainstreaming within coordination structures at Kalobeyei Integrated Settlement and Kakuma Refugee Camp, Turkana County, north-western Kenya. It also discusses practical recommendations for integrating gender into the coordination structures in ways that strengthen effectiveness and inclusiveness.
