Lenaola Dismisses Pev Rape Suit By Lobby

the STAR, 17TH November 2015. The High Court yesterday dismissed a case in which women’s rights groups sought information on rape and other crimes in the 2007-08 post-election violence. Twenty-nine petitioners include the Federation of Women Lawyers-Kenya, the Kenya Human Rights Commission and the International Commission of Jurists. But the AG in opposing the suit said the information sought is available in the public domain.
