Kenya to fight sexual and gender-based violence by teaming with UN agency

The national government and the United Nations Population Fund are establishing and strengthening sexual and gender-based violence recovery centres. Public Service Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki yesterday said the centres must be established closer to the people for easy access. She spoke while launching an SGBV recovery centre at the Kilifi County Hospital.
